Many people are still unaware of what ‘Flash’ is regarding web development. The best way for us to describe it to people is like this: Imagine you are an artist – you have one canvas that you can put paint on one-time and it dries, and another canvas that allows you to make your paint move around and change color, even play music to accompany the picture. Flash is the canvas that allows web designers to bring your ideas to life even more in just such a way, and so much more. It can allow a higher level of interactivity with your audience and even help lower your ‘bounce’ rate.
ProDeveloper has been specializing in a ‘Flash’ program called SwishMax – which in our opinion is much easier to use and design with than Adobe’s Flash products – although they both export Flash files in .SWF ( which then goes inside your .HTML or .ASPX or .XML etc. ). Many web developers / SEO experts also try to say that SEO can hinder your organic search ranking – but this is a myth. This can be a cover for not knowing Flash design, or an excuse for not wanting to have it done for you. We however believe in the power of Flash & SEO.
